Mandi recently graduated from Pace University’s New York City Campus in May of 2023 with a Bachelors of Arts in Political Science. She competitively danced in; Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, and Contemporary with numerous studios in the South Jersey area including; Jazz Unlimited, Dance Arts, Level Dance Complex, and Jamie’s Dance Odyssey, over the course of 10 years. Mandi has also trained in Hip Hop at studios in California such as; Millennium Dance Complex LA, Playground LA, and Movement Lifestyle. Mandi is a classically trained ballerina and has spent her summer youths at the Rock School of Ballet. Over the years, Mandi has won several “Scholarship Awards” at Competition Conventions including; Jump Convention, Artist Simply Human, NYCDA, and 541 Vibe City and placed “First Overall” in her age division for her Senior Solo. While living in New York City during undergrad, Mandi continued her dance training by taking open classes at renowned dance studios such as Broadway Dance Center and Brickhouse NYC. She even performed in a Flash Mob Wedding Proposal in Central Park. Additionally, Mandi was a member of Pace’s Dance Club - The Collective at Pace, where she taught Hip-Hop classes to student members and choreographed a Jazz- Funk and Lyrical piece for the end of the year showcase. Mandi has co-choreographed, staged, and performed in several 15-minute sets for an up-and-coming Colombian singer, Jillian Dowde, performing at Pace’s Arts and Entertainment Departments 10 Year Anniversary for Pace’s law school, professors, students, and industry professionals, as well as at Sounds of Brazil Music Venue in NYC. Most recently, she traveled to Colombia in the summer of 2023 to co-choreograph, stage, and perform in 2 music videos and 1 live performance for Jillian and is still actively performing with Jillian at Sour Mouse Lower East Side Music Venue. Outside of dance, Mandi is studying to take her Law School Admissions Test in preparation for 2025. Her goal is to work in the Media, Entertainment, and Tech Legal Industry to continue artists stories in any and every capacity they envision. Mandi is incredibly looking forward to fostering a connection with 33’s students, allowing a safe space for dancers to become in tune with their own rhythm and style. Mandi’s cannot wait to contribute to 33’s students’ education of becoming well-rounded dancers and teammates.
